Unlocking the Robo-Rivalry: Competition Details!

Get ready for the excitement of the K12 Robotics League! All registered Robotics League team members have the opportunity to compete! Each competition has three grade bands (4–6, 7–9, and 10–12). And each grade band has two skill levels: intermediate and advanced. Whether you're an intermediate whiz or an advanced expert, there's a perfect level for you. Students in the league will get access to STEM learning, competitions, and connections with fellow students. You won't want to miss a moment—stay tuned for how to watch the action live this summer!

Competition Schedule

The first three rounds of competition will take place virtually. The top 18 teams—3 in each grade band (4–6, 7–9, 10–12) and skill level (intermediate & advanced)—will be invited to the national competition in June 2024.

The K12 Robotics League is an independent initiative and is not affiliated with Cogmation. The $40 registration fee provides participants with access to the robotics software used in the league and to an initial robotics challenge available to all league participants. Please note that the software has specific system requirements; available on PC systems, Windows 10 version 17763.0 or higher, x64 architecture, an integrated keyboard and mouse, DirectX version 9, a minimum of 4 GB of memory, an Intel i3 or AMD A8 processor, and an integrated graphics card. It is important to ensure that your PC meets these requirements before registering.
The use of this software is at your own risk, and it is not necessary to possess a physical robot to participate in the league. We encourage all participants to carefully review the terms of service related to software usage to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations. Your registration indicates your acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.
