Step into the world of competitive gaming built just for K12-powered students. Our league offers structured, school-based seasons where teams of all levels—from rookies to veterans—sharpen real-world skills like teamwork, communication, and strategic problem-solving.

Thank you for your interest in the K12 Esports League! While registration for the Winter Season is now closed, you can still catch all the action by tuning into our Twitch channel—and we can’t wait to see you gaming with us in a future season.
Over six weeks of regular play (plus playoffs!), students represent their school, build friendships, and compete against other K12-powered schools. Whether you’re striving for a spot in the Varsity League or honing your skills in the Open League, there’s a place for everyone to compete, learn, and grow.
Eligibility Note
Open to students enrolled at participating K12-powered schools. Must be 13 years or older, maintain passing grades, follow all rules and guidelines, and stay in good standing with your school’s coach and the K12 Esports League admins.
K12 Esports League Unreal Engine Workshop
Learn Game Design with Unreal Engine
Join the K12 Esports League for an Unreal Engine Workshop! This is a four-week interactive workshop designed for students ages 13 and older. Participants will learn the basics of game design while building and editing their own Fortnite maps using free software.

April 1–22 at 4:30 PM (ET) weekly
K12 Esports League Super Smash Bros. Solos
Smash into Competition
Get ready to compete in the K12 Esports League Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Solos Tournament, a double-elimination event taking place over three weeks on Tuesdays at 7 PM (ET) starting on April 7th.
Register by March 31 to be part of the action!

Not every school participates in every game. Each school chooses which titles to field based on player interest and coach availability.
Note: New K12-powered schools can be added at any time once a coach or staff member is in place to oversee that school’s esports program.
Two Different Levels of Play
Varsity League
For experienced players ready to compete at the highest level and prove they are the best of the best among all K12-powered students.
Open League
For new and developing players to esports who want to learn more about competing, be a part of a team, and get better at their game of choice.
Games We Play
1v1: Out-think your opponent in classic board duels.
4-player squads, build and outlast other teams for the Victory Royale and climb the leaderboard.
3v3 car–soccer action: Boost, flip, and score your way to team glory.
3v3 crew battles: Iconic fighters clash on dynamic stages.
5v5 tactical team rounds: Be the first to win 13 rounds and beat the competition.
6v6 hero showdown: Assemble powers, coordinate your squad, and dominate.
Prizing Information
Teams that place among the Top 3 in the playoffs of each game title will be awarded prizes! All winners must adhere to the league’s Code of Conduct to claim awards. To be eligible to receive prizing, you must:
- Provide accurate student & Learning Coach information required at registration.
- Be an active, coach-rostered team member to qualify.
- Participate in both the regular season and playoffs.
- Stay eligible academically and be in good standing within the K12 Esports League.

- Registration Opens: 11/3/25

- Regular Season: 1/12/26 through 2/29/26
- Playoffs: 3/2/26 – 3/12/26
