Does your student love Minecraft? Join our exciting K12 Minecraft Build Challenges where students in grades K–12 can showcase their creativity. Whether a seasoned builder or just starting out, our challenges are designed to inspire and engage students of all levels.
Enter the K12 Magical Winter Minecraft Challenge!
Where magic meets snow! K12-powered students in grades K-12 are invited to design and build a magical winter-themed world in Minecraft Education. The build should reflect creativity, storytelling, and seasonal wonder—think glowing ice castles, enchanted forests, mythical creatures, or cozy villages with magical surprises!
One winning build will be selected from each grade band: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. Each winner will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card. Winners will be chosen by public vote.

Vote for Your Favorite ‘Harvest of Thanks’ Build!
For the month of November, we asked K12-powered students to submit a photo or video of their Minecraft Education build that shows what they’re thankful for. Now, it’s time to cast your votes for your favorite builds!
One winning build will be selected from each grade band: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. Each winner will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card. Winners will be chosen by public vote.
Public voting ends at 5 PM (ET) on December 16, 2025.
Anyone can vote up to once per day.
How it Works
Build & Submit
Participating students should follow the build guidelines, and/or theme, pertaining to the K12 Minecraft Build Challenge they are entering. Open to K12-powered students in grades K-12.
Vote
Vote Following the challenge entry period, public voting will take place for a short duration in which anyone can vote up to one time per day.

One winner per grade band (K-2nd, 3-5th, 6-8th, and 9-12th) with the most votes will be selected as the challenge winner. Winners will receive a $25 Amazon E-gift Card!
