Does your student love Minecraft? Join our exciting K12 Minecraft Education Build Challenges where K12-powered students in grades K–12 can showcase their creativity. Whether a seasoned builder or just starting out, our challenges are designed to inspire and engage students of all levels.

K12-powered students designed their heart-filled Minecraft worlds where pets were the stars.
Entry Period: Feb. 3–Mar. 2, 2026
Public Voting: Mar. 3–17, 2026
One winning build will be selected from each grade band: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. Each winner will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card. Winners will be chosen by public vote.
Public voting closes at 5 PM (ET) on March 17, 2026.
Anyone is eligible to vote up to once per day.
Enter the K12 Colorful Seasons Minecraft Challenge
K12-powered students in grades K-12 are invited to build a colorful world in this Minecraft Education challenge.
Entry Period: March 3–May 4, 2026
Public Voting: May 5–19, 2026
One winning build will be selected from each grade band: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. Each winner will receive a $25 Amazon e-gift card. Winners will be chosen by public vote.
All builds must be submitted by 5 PM (ET) on May 4, 2026.
How it Works
Build & Submit
Participating students should follow the build guidelines, and/or theme, pertaining to the K12 Minecraft Build Challenge they are entering. Open to K12-powered students in grades K-12.
Vote
Vote Following the challenge entry period, public voting will take place for a short duration in which anyone can vote up to one time per day.
WIN!
One winner per grade band (K-2nd, 3-5th, 6-8th, and 9-12th) with the most votes will be selected as the challenge winner. Winners will receive a $25 Amazon E-gift Card!
