Join us for a K12 Virtual Field Trip to Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary in Mays Landing, New Jersey! Join us for a virtual field trip to meet some exciting birds of prey. The Vermont Institute of Sciences (VINS) mission is to motivate individuals to care for the natural environment through education, research, and avian wildlife rehabilitation. They operate New England’s premier avian wildlife rehabilitation clinic at the Nature Center. VINS has been a leader in environmental education and wildlife conservation and care since 1972.

Join the Marine Science Center for a behind-the-scenes look at how sea turtles are rescued, rehabilitated, and released back into the ocean. Through real-life stories and a recorded video of a turtle release, students will discover how science, compassion, and teamwork come together to save marine animals. This interactive session encourages learners to become ocean stewards and make a difference in their own communities.

FAQ

A K12 Virtual Field Trip is a free online enrichment experience that allows students to virtually explore different places or activities from the comfort of their own homes. K12 partners with Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) and Exploring by the Seat of Pants, in addition to other groups such as the Norton Museum of Art and Linden Hall Farm, to bring these unique virtual experiences to students.

Parents, guardians, and teachers can register on behalf of their students or classes. Family members are welcome to join in and experience the virtual field trip alongside their students.
